Former President Donald Trump has slammed a judge’s order demanding him to pay a $355 million penalty for allegedly inflating his own net worth.

The judge ordered Trump to pay a $355 million penalty and a three-year ban on serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation, also making comments about Trump’s lack of remorse that influenced the decision.
Overstating by Billions
New York Attorney General Letitia James accused Trump of overstating his net worth by as much as $3.6 billion annually over a decade in a bid to deceive bankers.
Trump’s $83.3 Million Obligation to E. Jean Carroll
Trump was also ordered to pay $83.3 million to columnist E. Jean Carroll, who sued him for defamation.
Trump’s Political Accusations
Still, Trump is arguing that the decisions are politically influenced as he hopes to win the upcoming Presidential election.

Trump asserted that the Biden administration’s political decisions have made the nation “worse than a third-world country.”

“If this persecution of political opponents continues, no one will want to do business in the United States of America any longer,” Trump told his supporters at a rally in Michigan during his election campaign.

“He’s going to be in court March and April. He’s going to be in court May and June. He said himself that he’s going to be spending more time in a courtroom than he is on the campaign trail,” Haley told the crowd.

Trump said to his supporters in the key swing state of Michigan, “Remember the primary is Tuesday Feburary 27th. We need to get out and vote to set the stage for November. Go vote. November 27th,” while getting dates mixed up.

Trump also took the opportunity to remind his supporters that he believes mail-in votes are corrupt, “Mail-in voting is totally corrupt. Get that through your head,” he said.

“I’ve wanted to do this a long time,” Trump said after he unveiled his new collection of golden sneakers to a young audience in Michigan, with each pair being sold for $399.
